I want to study about the PolyVox and Thermite, but I am a newer about the Voxel-based Terrain. I have downloaded some versions about PolyVox and Thermite. When I build the project, I have some different questions.
1) The older version from "http://sourceforge.net/svn/?group_id=44243".
I have build the project successfully on modify some Syntax error. And When I execute the "Thermite.exe", it occurs about:
"Application TankWars does not exist. It should be found in the following location:
D:/Thermite/share/thermite/apps/TankWars"

I think this problem is I don't have the resources about the application "TankWars". I can't download the resources on the website. Can anyone help me??

2) The newest version about PolyVox from " https://gitorious.org/polyvox" and the Thermite from "https://gitorious.org/thermite3d/"
Also I build the two projects successfully. The project generates a Static library "Thermite.lib", not a exe application. IS it right? If I want to do something on the Thermite, I must to include the Static Library??

3)If I want to execute the "Thermite3D Tech Demo", what should I do ??

Sorry about my poor English. I come from China.

The basic answer is that you should not try to use Thermite3D in your projects, but you should instead focus on PolyVox. Thermite3D has been an experimental developemt, and I have made use of it in my own work, but in it's current state it is not useful to other people. The version on SourceForge is very old, and the data 'TankWars' was a test project which is no longer available. Actually I must shutdown the old SourceForge repository as it is confusing to people.

This is correct, Thermite3D is now a library rather than an application. However, there is no documentation and in time I will be closing the project down, so you should focus on PolyVox instead. The latest version of PolyVox is indeed at https://gitorious.org/polyvox

I assume you are referring to one of the demos on this page: http://thermite3d.org/joomla/download/thermite. Some of the demos have a .bat file, so you should run that if it exists, otherwise you should run the .exe file in the 'bin' folder.
