Did I interpret this correctly? it is hard to aim due to the 3rd dimension added?
I did not see any aim-aids in the screenshots yet. But I imagine it will be quite hard to shoot ‘up’ from a third person view.
I’m really curious about that.
The aiming problem is mostly solved by the shadows the Voxeliens cast on the floor of the map. If you’re sitting in a shadow then the Voxelien is directly above you.
Initially I was planning to add some kind of laser aiming system to address exactly this problem, but actually the shadows make it very easy. You just position the tank in the shadows and fire (allowing for enemy movement of course).
