Our Technology

Our technology is what makes our games unique. The use of voxels in our engine allows for novel graphics and gameplay opportunities resulting in games like you have never played before.

At Volumes Of Fun we make a lot of use of open source software, and so we like to give something back to the community. Our main contribution is PolyVox – an open source voxel terrain library, written in C++ and released under the highly permissive zlib license. It is useful for game and application developers who want to use a voxel based representation for their environments.
