Though, I am curious if you have a licensing option that allows for editing of the C source and not just its usage in Unity ?

Thanks! I'm afraid a source code license for Cubiquity is not available at the moment though. It is something we intend to introduce in the future, but there is a lot of work to do first in terms of improving the code and stabilizing the API.
