I was wondering if the posted max size of 255x255x255 will be allowed. I seem to only be able to make a volume (terrain) as 128x128x128. Also it is mentioning that the max uncompresed blocks is 1000000, while 128^3 == 2097152. Is this a data issue or another limitation until you begin licensing?

The 256x256x256 limit is for the colored cubes volumes, while the terrain volumes are currently limited to 128x128x128. At the moment I don't know whether this will change for the free version. However, we are also reconsidering our licensing options but are not quite ready to announce them - I'll send you a PM.

Actually I'm not sure what you mean here... where are you getting this value from?

When making volumes I noticed this in the log:

Code:
created'Z:/Repository/Personal/Unity/eden/Assets/StreamingAssets\4BE89800.vol'
[00:45:21][debug  ]<>: The maximum number of uncompresed blocks has been set to 1000000, which is 150994944 bytes

And was just checking if I changed every other block in a 128x128x128 volume (2097152 blocks) if it would restrict the saving of the file.

I see, no, that's not a problem. In this context a block is actually a set of 64x64x64 voxels so there are plenty available. And even if you hit the limit it will just start compressing and/or paging some blocks to disk. At the moment the limit is just set very high for testing purposes.
