It is possible in principle, and in the long term we would like to support this, but in practice it is too difficult at the moment.
Cubiquity itself is actually just a native code library and provides a simple C interface. One of the advantages of this is that C is very easy to call from a variety of languages (including C#), whereas you have already seen that PolyVox's templatized C++ interface makes using other languages a lot more difficult.
The practical problem is basically that the native code library is currently undocumented and the interface is still changing. So at the moment you would find it a somewhat frustrating experience.
