Hi!!! My name is Edgardo and I'm from Chile. I joined this forum to learn how to use Polyvox in Ogre3D (which I am also learning to use). Well I'm not very good at presentations and also in English. We read! |

Hello I am Kaveh, I am 39, French. When I was a kid, I was always breaking my toys violently (and painfully repairing them after). Thanks to technos like PolyVox and surface extraction methods, I can still destroy my environments, but in a much cheaper way, and can repair them with a single click ! |

Hey, Kuro here! I'm a (almost) 21 year old (hobby-)programmer. I was interested in destructible terrain for ages for my hobby projects but found mesh deformation to be too slow for my needs. Atm I'm trying myself in a little survival-shooter in an endless, deformable terrain. Since im a shader noob im quite in a pinch when it comes to Materialquestions, but the generation and game logics work fine ( AS far as they are implemented. ) PS: PolyVox is awsome! It gives everything one needs in a neat, easy to use manner. I love it. |

Hello. For start I'm sorry about my poor english. My name is Darek and as my nick suggest I'm qualified builder, but I have very little knowledge about programing. Of course I learned something about C++ and opengl in the last several weeks and finally I became interested in voxel programming and found this site. I hope I will have enough strength to not give up this very difficult task. |

Welcome to the community I do hope you find PolyVox useful though it is quite a complex library. Just ask if you have any questions. |

Hi my name is Axel I'm from Germany and study in the field of mathematics. Currently I work part time in a company focused on automation. For future development they consider to use Voxels for visualisation, therefore it is my job to take a deeper look how to achieve this. The moment I use Polyvox in combination with Ogre3D to implement an editor like program. I code in C# so I wrote my own Wrapper for better use. (My current project is not about beauty more about the possiblities of Polyvox, and I think dont get everything you can do with Polyvox ) In a few weeks my work ends and I consider to start an own project with PolyVox about whatever comes in my mind. PS: Great work with PolyVox |

Sounds interesting - it's nice to hear about PolyVox being used outside of games, because there are lots of possibilities of course. |
